Wirco, Incorporated is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of Salloy, Incorporated located inSimpsonville South Carolina. For over thirty years Salloy has produced the highest quality alloy rod and wire fabrications for customers located throughout the east coast and Midwestern states. Salloy was founded and managed by Sal Postich with the original fabrication shop located in commercial heat treater Carolina Commercial Fountain Inn, SC (now Bodycote). Current Salloy President Sam Postich has been appointed as Wirco's new direct sales representative for our southeastern commercial and captive thermal processing customers as well as certain select customers throughout the US.
We are very excited to welcome Sam Postich to the Wirco Team. His decades of experience and dedication to our industry will serve our customers well. Wirco Inc. Wirco Incorporated is a US based manufacturer of heat and corrosion resistant castings and fabrications with facilities located in Avilla, Indiana and Champaign, Illinois.
Since 1978, Wirco, Inc., has been committed to providing high-quality heat treat fixturing and furnace replacement parts to our customers. Wirco manufactures a full line of fabrications including baskets, fixturing, furnace fans (new and rebuilt), furnace rolls, muffles, corrugated boxes, wrought and cast radiant tubes and retorts. We design fixturing to specific customer requirements. We also rebuild furnace components such as fans, air and water cooled fan housings and cast radiant tube assemblies. Wirco invests heavily in technology to constantly upgrade our products. Automated pressure welding is the center piece of our basket fabrication. We utilize robotic orbital tig welding which is the most technologically advanced method in the market today for assembling radiant tubes. CNC milling and lathes help achieve outstanding repeatability in our machine shop.
Founded in 1941, Alloy Engineering & Casting Company is a well respected foundry supplying castings to a variety of markets. AECCO produces heat, corrosion, and wear resistant castings in conventional and centrifugal casting processes. Our technical expertise and experience coupled with state-of-the-art equipment allows AECCO to meet customer requirements through a full range of cast alloy materials and products. Our facilities include both induction and arc furnaces allowing for the production of a wide variety of casting sizes. Castings produced by AECCO can range from 1 to 3000 pounds.
